Welcome to Spaced Repetition Tracker, a productivity app designed to help you organize and manage your study time effectively with intelligent spaced repetition scheduling. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Spaced Repetition Tracker app ("the App") and your relationship with Alessandro Pace ("we", "our", or "us"), the sole creator and developer of the App.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, and/or using Spaced Repetition Tracker, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spaced Repetition Tracker, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must cease using the App immediately.

2. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.

3. Privacy and Data Ownership

Study records are stored on your device and can sync through Apple's CloudKit service using your iCloud account. Sync is asynchronous and depends on Apple's services, your account, and network connectivity. The app also supports user initiated JSON backup export and import; exported files are not encrypted by the app. Calendar events are stored in the calendar account you select.

Data and Service Use:

  • Study content: Your study records sync through your private iCloud account. The developer does not operate a separate server for storing those records.
  • Product analytics: Mixpanel receives app usage events and limited event properties, which can include app/device version, onboarding choices, and attachment type and size. Analytics are enabled by default in the current app implementation.
  • Subscriptions: RevenueCat helps the app retrieve subscription entitlements and coordinate purchases handled by Apple's App Store.

Data Control:

  • User Control: Manage study records in the app and your iCloud settings. Keep exported JSON backups secure; they are not encrypted by the app.

Data Sharing:

  • Study content is not shared with the analytics service. Limited usage analytics and subscription information are processed by Mixpanel and RevenueCat as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

The Spaced Repetition Tracker App, including but not limited to the design, functionality, and content, is the intellectual property of Alessandro Pace. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without express written permission.

5. Liability Disclaimer

Spaced Repetition Tracker is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or be free of errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alessandro Pace shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

6. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.
